As a part of Sandia's recent ECP Campaign, OPEIU Local 251 conducted a drive on behalf of the Metropolitan Homelessness Project  (MHP), one of the local agencies who helps homeless men find permanent housing.  OPEIU collected 20 pairs of socks, 12 sets of twin sheets, 20 knit caps, 8 backpacks and travel sized toiletries.  They also presented a check to the MHP for $250.  The items were delivered on December 7th and were well appreciated.  THANK YOU to all OPEIU Local 251 members who opened your hearts and contributed to this worthwhile charity.  Also, a special thank you to Diane Goins who coordinated this drive on behalf of OPEIU Local 251.
